| >> Phenomor Corrosion Proof Phenolic Resin Mortar |
 Phenomor is a Phenolic Resin based Chemical Resistant Mortar. Phenolic is resistant to wide range of Acid alkali, salt, solvent, oil, grease etc. Phenolic can be use in laying and pointing of acid proof brick and tiles, Mandana for construction of Acid resistance tank flooring it is also use in pipe jointing materials.
Phenon cement is buttered on Acid proof Brick using the usual brick layer’s method, where bedding and pointing cements are one. In case of bedding and pointing cements are different Phenon is better for pointing to the joints of Bricks. During and after completion of the installation the area must be dry and free from foreign matter such as construction dirt, Portland cement, plaster and other contaminates which would interfere the setting of the cement.

Phenolic is prepared by mixing solution & powder to form a workable mortar. The suggested ratio of mixing is 1 part solution to 3 parts powder by wt. The ratio will diverge depending upon ambient temperature and working conditions. Use clean, dry mixing pan. Take-out required quantity of solution and adds powder to it, slowly and start mixing until you get smooth paste, free from loose powder. Do not prepare more material, then can be used within 20-30 minutes. When the liquid Resin & Powder is mixed in proportion, forms workable mortar and after it setting and curing gives a black solid mass. |

Phenolic can provide very good protection against strong mineral acids up to 70 % and oxidizing acids, organic and fatty acids, oil, fats, and many solvents. Phenolic " C" 100 % carbon filled mortar is recommended to protect against HF, fluoride salts etc. Phenolic is used for acid resisting brick/tile lining where protection against Sulfuric acid is needed. It is recommended for pickling tank lining, reaction & storage vessels lining, floors, drains lining. |
